Come back to basics with me as we move through simple yoga flows that reintroduce foundational poses to the new body you're in. You’ll learn how to tune it all out and turn your attention inward.
WEEK #2
Sun salutations and affirmations for strong mothers remind us that our bodies and minds have already accomplished a great feat and are capable of even more.
WEEK #3
We work on connecting body and mind by incorporating vinyasa yoga flows into our routine and revisiting practices from previous weeks.
WEEK #4
Take things up a notch with Sun Salutation C and moving through each of the four warrior poses.
WEEK #5
This week's journal prompt is my favorite one as we look back on where we've come from and start to think forward to where we want to be.

Some of the yoga classes will be VERY DIFFICULT your first couple of times through--that's kind of the point! And meditation often doesn't come naturally. That's why we practice.
Every yoga class is 15-20 minutes long, so even when it's hard, it's only for a little while. The idea is to revisit this practice throughout your postpartum journey to observe and celebrate your progress over time.

I believe (and I know you do too) that our bodies are INCREDIBLE. I mean, they've grown and birthed actual human beings--what?! But that doesn't make it magically easy to just love and celebrate our new bodies.
Because, frankly, our bodies after babies look different. They work differently too (and sometimes they just kind of...don't work.).
Having a baby changes us, but that doesn't mean we just have to settle for some sad version of "body after baby." Or that mental chaos has to be our new norm. So let's break free from feeling like strangers in our own flesh or like we're running for our lives on the hamster wheel of mothering littles, and let's start living in freedom + ease of STRENGTH after baby.
