How would you define a positive birth?
Let me guess, you’re either:
Â
- a mom who's nervous about giving birth
Â
-
a mom who wants to play an active role in her birth
Â
-
a mom who wants to trust her body's innate ability to birthÂ
Â
-
a mom who wants a redemptive birth after having a negative experience with prior birth(s)
Â
we have influence, not control
And you’ve probably heard those scary birth stories and have either resigned yourself to it happening to you, too, or you’re crossing your fingers, HOPING you don’t get traumatized by your birth.
Â
Well let me tell you—it doesn’t have to be that way.
Â
There IS a better option!
Â
And that’s why I created Preparing for Birth.
Â
So that moms like you could be better equipped for birth and encouraged to be active participants in their experience to ensure a positive birth experience.
Â
I need this!!your birth story = your life story
Picture yourself 6 weeks from now.
You could be:
-
LOOKING FORWARD to giving birth (gasp! Yes, it’s possible!)
-
Stronger than ever before in your body AND your mind
-
Feeling totally zen about whatever comes your way
-
Actually EXCITED about postpartum
The right birth prep makes all the difference.

Hi, I'm Sarah!
I'm a mom of 3 and a 200hr+ yoga teacher with a specialized training in pre/postnatal yoga instruction. I support moms through yoga in person in NYC and online around the world, and I'd be honored to be part of your journey.
I've had three unmedicated home births, and while I don't think home birth is for everyone, I do think it's important to prepare as if you're having a home birth. Because we can't control the outcome, we focus our work on ourselves and the way we experience what happens in and around us.
I know a lot of people talk about birth like this horrible event you just have to suffer through, but I really want you to know that you CAN influence your birth experience, and a "positive birth" is largely a state of mind. The mind-body connection makes all the difference, and I'm here to help you tap into that.
Let's get you the positive birth you deserve.
