Does anyone ever forget being pregnant?
Feb 05, 2024(The answer is no.)
I mean, you might block out some details (ummm exactly how many times did I throw up??), but I assure you no one is going around saying, “Oh rightttttt I forgot I had a baby one time!”
I was talking with my aunt recently whose kids are 34 and 28 years old and she had so much to say about her prenatal yoga experience…from 30+ years ago!
She told me what the classes were like, who she went with, when their babies were born—SO much! I was shocked at how vivid her memories were, and then it hit me.
You’re bonded forever with those who walk with you through pregnancy.
This is why community is so important in pregnancy and those early postpartum days.
This is why it’s important to take care of yourself, to surround yourself with only those who will support you and build you up—because it sets the tone for what’s to come, and because it stays with you.
And I’d bet you some of those positive people you surround yourself with in pregnancy become lifelong BFFs! (Thank you, Phoebe from Friends for that term!)
And this is why our community exists. Whether you just found out you’re pregnant or your baby’s already a year old, there’s a place for you in Birth & Beyond. Get the support you deserve and the community you crave in here.
